    Good observations. Right on.

Yeah! It’s not so much that God gets mad at us and makes us hurt and miserable if we don’t receive Jesus. It’s more like, if we don’t receive Jesus and the new life that Jesus wants to bring us, by default we will just continue on living in the hell that we’re already living in without Him. The punishment for not receiving Jesus is that He can’t save us from ourselves and our sins, and that can get real ugly!

    That’s an interesting subject.
A while ago I read a novel that had some insightful things to say on this topic titled, “The Great Divorce” written by C.S.Lewis.

I think you had a good point about it when you said “his very nature stands against sin”. I wanted to extrapolate from that idea a little.

I believe that we call God perfect because he is the actual definition of perfection; his is the only case where moral perfection exists. He is the arbiter of morality and perfection, and without him they would not exist. However he is not perfect by any act of will, but is essentially perfect. He has no more choice in the matter than water does in being made of hydrogen and oxygen. That is why sin is not only in opposition to God but is itself opposition to God, not rebellious against God, it is rebellion against God. They can’t be reconciled, God and Sin are mutually exclusive, and both have no choice in the matter. We the creatures of God, by the conditions of the power of choice, are now under siege both by corruption and the uncorruptable.
I also agree with Keith that in the case of Hell we are not being punished by God for sin. We are suffering because we lack God. There is no way to manufacture things like happiness, peace, love, and life without God, and in the life of a person who has chosen sin (and as a result alienated themselves from God). For them there is only corruption and misery. Unlike heaven, hell is not an actual place, it is simply self alienation from God, and resultantly everything that we need for real happiness.

Good insight Jason and Keith. While this subject is part of the fundamentals of Christianity, I think its something that on a wide scale is not fully understood. I feel its important to grasp these concepts otherwise its easy to misjudge God and cast Him in a harsh, unloving, uncaring light which I feel happens a lot in society.

I’m so glad to hear these deep insightful thoughts and words. I love the depths of God. I love the light of understanding that we acquire as we search for more truth through those special words. I just finished listening to a Chuck Missler audiobook for the second time. It’s about the code God put in the bible and in our DNA, too. It is pretty deep. I think I gave it to you, Jason, when I last saw you. I think you will like it.

    Very Nice Blog man!

And about this article that unfortunately I only have time right now to browse, even though it’s content is deep and very important:

My browsing reaction is that HIS Mercy and Forgiveness Are Always Present! But, we as humans or even the spirits, have a steel will that we must open and say yes to JESUS and let His Forgivening Person flow into us to stay, or, we (they) could even up with the opposite, which is no forgiveness (be cause they shurt it out) Of course, there are levels of forgiveness from one being to another too, which count in the Judgements! 😀

Thanks Again for Ur Faithfulness to Witness etc.

    See ya
